I have an FB sedan with a broken boot hinge spring, and I'm having alot of trouble trying to fit a new one, without losing a finger.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on fitting this?

Yeah I'm pulling the gearbox out to replace seals, so I'm half way there. I think the motor may have more than a sump leak anyway :roll: I'd like to pull the subframe out and replace rubbers and tidy up,but where do you stop, considering my original plans were to get the old girl ready for rego and ...

I'm looking at replacing the engine mounts on my fb(front and rear), aswell as a new sump gasket.
Can this be done with the engine still in the engine bay, or am I better off lifting it out.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
