Re: Long shot: Olbis or McGee injection for a grey

Harv, can't remember when I sold it exactly but I see through a google search that "FB Copcar" on the FE/FC forum sold his Olbis through ebay back in Oct 2011. Also that I advertised it as available back in 2006 which is when Rob bought it back so maybe it went to FB Copcar from Rob.

Re: Long shot: Olbis or McGee injection for a grey

Did Rob (4Hammers) remember that I sold it back to him when I sold my EK? If not he may have it stashed in his shed and he forgot about it, or he sold it on again after he bought it back from me. He had tonnes of good grey motor stuff.

Re: Jay's EK.

Hey J, Looking at it now I think the seatbelts and radio are the only things I did to it that are still there. From memory that radio is actually half a radio, I remember it didn't work and didn't fit (would you believe I got it for a fiver at a cash converters  ) so I cut the back off with a...

Re: Jay's EK.

J, I bought it off a guy down Canningvale way, don't know anything else about him or it's history, guessing by the plates he might have brought it up from down south. You can't go wrong having spent that money mate, if your in mining (I think I read that) just look at it as money that was better spe...

Found the tool, I have no idea if it is a Holden one, just something I picked up at a garage sale at some stage. It looks like it would fit. I will try and drop it off to Blacky's but probably won't get there until Sunday as I am working all Saturday again. If your mate drives a ute wagon or van may...

Jay, there is a full set there somewhere - look in one of the plastic or glass containers that had bits in in the blue crate. Some of the loose handles also had them already fitted on them so check them too.

Cheers,
Mike

Looking good J, I have to say that selling the old girl was one of the hardest things Erin and I have done and when you put your hand up to take it off our hands it made it alot easier. Stoked to hear that it passed the roadside check as it would have made me feel like shite if you had got a canary ...

Head gasket replacement

Moved this query to here rather than where it was first brought up in my wanted post. What is spray paste and is it needed on head gaskets? Retro mentions in my wanted post but in all the heads I have fitted over the years i have never used any paste or sealer. Just cleaned off the head and block we...

I have access to a rotten ute in Bakers Hill that has had a bonnet on it forever so it may have a resonable donor section, I know the rest of it is pretty well rooted so if it has it would not be a waste to cut it up. I will check it out next time I am there and give you a shout if it is any good. B...
