Get in touch with Highland Glass in Bowral, they do toughened glass with the appropriate marks on them, polished edges and all! Pretty cheap too!

Re: Nationals Prep 2021

My rat

I still love early Holdens but here’s where I’m at now, 37 Plymouth ratrod. 307 Holden (Chev) with th400, 9” held in place by 4 link and panhard bar with coil overs. It has just enough paint to call it restored! On the road soon(ish) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200705/e68d2e237efa8deab770fa25...

Re: Rare Spares front windscreen rubber - volunteer needed.

A bloke who started his working life as a panel beater said they often had to push FB/EK roof up in the middle top where the rubber goes with a pneumatic ram to allow screens to fit!

Just be aware that you still don’t want too much buildup!

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

Etch primer is not the same as a primer or a hibuild and should only be sprayed as a single mainly see through coat. Your primer or hibuild is the stuff that you sand down to fill slight imperfections and provide a flat surface before colour. If your total buildup is too thick (including colour)you ...

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

If it’s etch primer then it’s really only a tie coat between bare metal and primer/ hi build and only needs a mist coat. If you used a hi build or primer surfacer with an in built etch then a few coats is ok and you should be able to block it out. If it’s an etch primer then 3 coats might be too muc...
