You can still buy the rubber grommets with the nuts inside. I took one in to a nut and bolt place and they matched it. THink it was $42 for a box of 50. The bolts are 5/16 or 3/8 heads from memory. As said in the post earlier if the holes were smaller they were a stainless flat blade self tapper. h...

REGO states engine number as B90463 (is this original or the red 173???) where to find the numbers? that engine No would be for the original engine, yor chassis No is on the right inner guard pretty hard to miss as the No's are quite large there's a terminal block for the headlight wiring it'll be ...

it's got FB hub caps :lol: it doesn't seem to have any roof chrome and it's painted EK colour scheme so my guess is EK (even though it has FB hub caps :roll: :wink: )
next time you see it sam open the bonnet and have a look to settle it :wink: :)

don't really know if there's a great deal of differance with the black motor cam to the red maybe a little more down low torque, but definately wouldn't be anything like an XU1 as they were quite a lumpy cam and definately wouldn't have made Mr and Mrs normal in there nice new VK commodore happy dri...

DR's on the money i think just about any auto you want will fit in the tunnel, certainly a trimatic or powerglide will definately fit
