Not sure if this helps Harv, My race car (lately garage art ) has a pull cable to the ouside of the vehicle to stop the ignition by officials and is mandated by cams. It is the smplest way i could find to do it and it works ok. See photos. It does however need to be reset manually. IMG_2627.JPG IMG_...

Hi Brett,

As you have said, the combination would make for satisfying driving. You can let loose on the gearbox if you have the courage, they are pretty tough.

Sorry but i do not have one, i do however have the original tube, its a bit battered and has been brazed around the edge that goes into the block.

100 % the air gun a burst of air very 2 to 3 spots can eliminate the warpage issue. You should monitor it as you go and if it starts to move then cut it and start again, patience is a virtue here.
