At the end of the day its the cubes and gearing that dictate the consumption, on old engines anyway. The other thing is the more power you have the more pedal pr...

Re: harvs ek 327 wagon

Not sure where that plastic is from but vaccuum does play havoc if its not right with the carby. I should have ordered heads with the angled plugs as well, a mistake i will have to live with !!! Off the topic, im going to bin my Gemini booster and by the looks of it you still run one, do you want it...

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon

Looking really good Neil,

I have a question relating to the rear cradle, does it have adjustable ride height coil overs ? Just curious if this is possible.

Thanks Greg

I love your painting Blacky !!

Don't those rattle cans just piss you off, I have had many long distance can throwing events at my house !!!!

You seem to have a bit of urgency going on here, any particular reason ?

Re: Ol' Rusty - FB/EK Sedan

Hi Scott, The boot on my car never did fit right so i decided to replace it, once the new one went on I found it sat proud of the rear lip nearly half an inch ! The conclusion was the boot lids were different or the car had a hit in the rear at one stage but i could not see any evidence of this. In ...

Re: Chev EK

Well im impressed, The new sniper 2 injection is just brilliant, there is instant start, no coughing or missing, great throttle response and from what i can tell so far heaps better fuel economy. I have mashed the pedal a couple of times and it goes instantly !! It did take quite an effort although,...

Re: Chev EK

I hope it goes as good as it looks mate. We can compare mileage on the way to Bunbury. [emoji6] FB ute fixer upper, EK van on rotisserie Ha Ha ha, I'll need to keep the tall diff in it ! I'm pretty sure that fuel economy will be the least of my worries if I do the cross. Still tossing up how the he...

Redneck wheel alignment, no way ! I have gotten sick of the deer in the headlights look when you rock up to aligner and ask for a wheel alignment so I do all my own now. Its quite easy if you understand the values and it can be done with simple tools, I also have wheel alignment degree plates which ...

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon

Great work Neil.

I was thinking the same in relation to weight, only because i had a mate bagging my 9 inch saying it was too heavy and i should have used a borg warner instead.
Im sure the ride with that cradle will be superior to the leaf springs.

Great work Taz,

Fabricating everything like this takes years, it will be well worth it once you are done.

Re: Someone has way too much time on their hands ......

Its amazing what dedication or is that obsession can create !! My love of the RB30 ended when i had a very large crash in a VL commodore, lucky to be alive really. That thing screamed to a point of just being out of control, which i was, put me in debt for a few years longer than i hoped. It would b...
