FX or 50-2106 utes have the external handle.
FJ utes don't have it. They swapped to the internal handle when the FJs came out in 1953.

The main bearing blocks were a common mod many years ago. Don't know if people still do it ? I had the same blocks on a grey in the mid 70s that was done in Sydney by Waggott Engineering. Can't remember if they had those allen key bolts in them though ? Impossible to tell what cam it is from photos ...
