If it's a light layer of dust/dirt/road grime I use Meguiar's "Final Inspection" and 2 microfibre cloths. Do a panel at a time - spray on Final Inspection, use number 1 cloth to clean off grime/dry up excess moisture then use number 2 cloth to collect remaining moisture/buff paint slightly...

We had exactly the same issues with our FE van. I chased the problems for 2 years which included a significant amount my time and money trying to fill holes in the top of the tank with various epoxies. Eventually we got Martin to make us a couple of new tanks and I recently fitted the one in the van...

I am just narrowing a diff and was doing a bit of google research. From what I found the LC/LJ is 1370mm from wheel face to wheel face. I think Stinky and JackFC from the dark side (fe fc forum) are both running this diff). Hope this helps.
