Rubbers across the bonnet, yes. Above the guards and front guards inside, no.
I have some left over when you get to that point.

Re: 2015 FB EK Nationals HERVEY BAY, Qld June 6&7
Just heard from Fishyweare (Paul).
He's broken down just south of Gympie.
Engine stopped and thinks he's done the timing gear.
Go to see about getting towed to Gympie.
And he thought his was running great.

Re: Damn, a last minute problem
Arrived without changing the plug once, although it was starting to struggle a bit towards the end.
Hope the return trip is just as good.
Developed a new problem, but can't think of a better place to be with a EK problem.

Re: Damn, a last minute problem
Thanks for the feedback. :D It's a grey and its 252 Klm from my house. Changed the oil and put in a hotter BP4 plug. Took it for a run up the highway this afternoon and hasn't started missing again yet. I've got one new plug and 6 cleaned up old plugs. Sounds like it they are fairly indestructible. ...

I'm thinking I'm not packing enough spares.
I wouldn't have thought to pack a head gasket, and all the tools needed.
Maybe I should bring the trailer.

Re: Damn, a last minute problem
Thanks Rosco, second one from the back. Compression was down on a couple of them last time I checked. But it was only the day before last that I checked all the plugs. They were dirty, but it was all dry, nothing moist like today. If I have to get the engine done then I'm probably going to throw in ...

Damn, a last minute problem
It looks like Murphy has been at it again. Finished getting a few things finished today in preparation for the drive to Hervey Bay. Car started missing and farting under load. One cylinder is oiling up, and it looks like I'm going to need to do the rings. Had a mechanic look at it and inside the cyl...

Great to hear Rosco.
I'm changing my wheels, a different mag may be easier.
I'm running HR front disc and rear.
Did your 14" fit straight on, or did they need modifications.

Re: Bent Pushrod
I had a bent pushrods.
Also had a cracked rocker and blown head gasket.
Something over stressed it at some stage. Replaced them from my spare motor and no problems since.

EK front seat trim needed
Looking at retriming the front seat on the EK. Don't need the seat, just the cover. Not worried about the colour, other than it being the silver inserts. The spare I had is a dark coloured insert, not the normal silver colour. The inserts need to be in good condition, but the rest doesn't really mat...

Re: Dragway Wheels - wheel arch lip roller needed.
Hey Rosco, looking forward to meeting you also. I have a similar post related to wheels. After looking at the tyres today, I did a ring around and I'm thinking that changing the tyres may solve the issue. Currently mine at 205 60 r13 but if I fit 185 80 that will reduce the width, and may be enough ...

Re: Has anyone rolled their rear guards
Thanks Blacky I'm trying to get my 13" Dragways (6x13) to stop hitting on bumps and cornering. Now I'm thinking of changing the tyres. They are 205 60 r13, which are a lot smaller the the originals. I'm thinking 185 80 r13 may reduce the width enough to stop it touching. Anyone tried that set u...
