G'day,
I am seeking a tow bar for my EK sedan please. I am based in Melbourne, so am prepared to pay for delivery if your tow bar is beyond sensible driving range.
Hope to hear from you.
Regards,
Andrew

Re: NASCO weathershield
Hi Harv,
Did you obtain a resolution for your enquiry about weathershields? As it happens, I am now seriously considering trying to obtain one, but there seems to be little information about them (including installation instructions).

Re: Hand-crank for grey motor
This was a most unexpected topic for me to see on this car forum. Is this a late April 1st joke, or are you seriously contemplating installing a crank handle on your FB/EK Holden?

Re: Review Mirror glass replacement.
Thanks, Mick. Your note helped prompt me to keep raking through the web pages until something worked. In this case, using Attachments. It's by no means elegant, but has worked once so far.

Re: Review Mirror glass replacement.
That worked, but I was using a small picture already found on the Internet. Now let's try a decent-sized image...
Looks like this works. On a web browser, use Attachments. Ignore all of the other buttons that suggest image posting features.

Re: Interior door pull handles - Fasteners?
https://www.classicindustries.com/produ ... x1048.html !!! Very, very interesting website. Not only do they stock suitable screws - They also stock numerous other Lucas items that interest me. As for the screws, I am particularly attracted to the flat-bladed-screw-driving type (as mentioned by @Blac...

Re: Review Mirror glass replacement.
Hi, This post reworked due to popular demand (and me learning how to insert images into posts)... ============================== How I replaced original 8-inch wide rear view mirror with genuine near-period-correct GM remade 10-inch wide rear view mirror. --------------------------------------------...

Interior door pull handles - Fasteners?
Hi, Can you please help? I recently acquired a set of the original/NASCO-styled interior door pull handles - The ones that look like tool shed door handles and are meant to be fastened to the door using four fasteners per handle. What fasteners are recommended? Sorry that I have not uploaded a pictu...

Re: Review Mirror glass replacement.
Originally I did consider replacing the glass. However, after driving the car several times and noticing how terribly narrow the field of view was in the originally 8 inch wide mirror, I bought a new genuine GM reproduction of a period-correct 10 inch wide version that was supposedly compatible with...

Re: Bonnet bird measurements
Thanks to @ekspcl and @blacky for variously sharing the measurements and the scanned instructions. One thing that I find with these cars is the need to frequently deal with bonkers-sounding dimensions like "12 and 5/32" and "10 and 33/64" as opposed to clean dimensions like 309 m...

Maximum permissible thickness of sound-proofing material in ceiling
Hi, Can someone please advise the maximum permissible thickness of insulating material (e.g. sound dampening material) that can be located between the roof and the ceiling liner? For maximum sound control, I am seeking to adhere to the underside of the roof a material having the following characteri...
