I've heard they are a motley crew, but generous.

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
The bit you cant buy new is the hump part where the rear shock mounts are. It's a tough bit too because its multiple layers. All these repairs are in Project 2 and others. Unfortunately your rust was our rust.
What are your A pillars like at the bottom?

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
Good info Clay. This resto reminds me that if I was going again I would definitely move the wall behind the drivers seat (and maybe the whole thing) back 3inches and get rid of the angle so it was a flat surface. I will probably do this to the drivers side on my ute at some stage because there is no...

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
At the risk of being a smartarse, what you are showing there is pretty standard subframe rust. Legs and the angled bits are all available from Rares ( I might even have the short angled radiator support pieces as well for postage cost) and easily replaced. The panels look pretty good and easy repair...

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute
I have one of those repro glove boxes if you are looking for one Clay.
Squirty thingo can be testing. Mine mucked me about a bit too, but pump incorporated in bottom of plastic bottle so not a priming problem- more of a flooding mess problem.

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
Sub frames are the easiest repair going. I think I have the centre section Rares piece that you can have for the postage cost if you need it. I don't think there is much of a problem with the subframes being swapped from one car to another ( I have moved 3 between cars and they all fitted without an...

Re: Project 2.
Well for this week anyway Neil. You know how it is, there is always something to do! I'm trialling electric choke at the moment. I like the idea of having it automated, but the control freak in me says "why are you not doing this choking yourself?" We'll see.

Cheers Clay. It's nice to annoy the street in style.
It's not Harv's waggon, but it certainly blats very nicely now!
